Growing Careers, Cultivating Success
From a small vision in 2019 to transforming how professionals approach indoor plant design careers across America
The Seed of an Idea
What started as conversations with frustrated professionals trying to break into plant design became our founding mission. Too many talented people were hitting walls because traditional education didn't cover the business side of plant consulting.
- Launched with 12 founding members who believed in practical plant design education
- Developed our first comprehensive curriculum combining design principles with business acumen
- Established partnerships with three major indoor plant suppliers in Kalungi
- Created mentorship program connecting newcomers with established designers
Expanding Horizons
The pandemic actually accelerated our growth as more people discovered the importance of bringing nature indoors. Remote work created demand for home office plant consultations, and we were ready.
- Reached 500+ active learners across 15 states
- Introduced virtual consultation training modules
- Launched our signature "Plants Meet Profit" certification program
- Partnered with WeWork and similar co-working spaces for large-scale projects
- Achieved 89% job placement rate for program graduates
Deep Roots, Wide Reach
By 2023, we realized we weren't just teaching plant design anymore. We were building a community of professionals who understood that plants are about creating environments where people thrive. That's when everything clicked into place.
- Opened our flagship learning center in Manhattan
- Graduated over 1,200 certified plant design professionals
- Developed specialized tracks for healthcare facilities and corporate wellness
- Created alumni network spanning hospitality, healthcare, and tech industries
- Recognized by Interior Design Magazine as "Rising Education Platform"
Looking Forward: 2025 and Beyond
Here's what keeps us excited about the future. The indoor plant design industry is experiencing unprecedented growth, but more importantly, we're seeing how our graduates are changing workplace wellness culture. They're not just placing plants – they're creating environments that reduce stress, improve air quality, and make spaces feel more human.
This year, we're launching advanced specializations in biophilic architecture consultation and therapeutic garden design. We're also expanding our mentorship program to include direct connections with leading architectural firms who specifically seek our graduates.
